Ukraine is a central part of the "Bloodlands," the location of invasions, battles, numerous atrocities, through world wars, civil war, revolution, and the war with Russia. Commemorating International Women's Day, Ukrainian scholar Marta Havryshko explores the use of sexual violence in the Holocaust and the current war.
