"Rooted in Culture" is more than an exhibition; it is a collaborative art project co-organized by the Georgia Nation Harmony Foundation and the Davis Center's Program on Georgian Studies, underscoring the enduring cultural connections between Georgia and the United States. This initiative seeks to enhance cultural exchanges and fortify bonds between the two nations. "Rooted in Culture" invites visitors to explore themes of democracy, cultural exchange, and mutual appreciation through a captivating collection of artworks.
Curated by Ketevan Paitchadze, the exhibition features a rich selection of works by acclaimed Georgian artists.
We are honored to have Dr. Sergo Tbileli deliver a keynote lecture and workshop, providing invaluable insights into Georgian artistic traditions and techniques and offering visitors a deeper understanding of the cultural narratives embodied in the art.
