Aidar Tainov

Aidar Tainov is a senior program manager at the International Science and Technology Center, specializing in international cooperation, nuclear non-proliferation, and nuclear energy development. He previously served at the International Atomic Energy Agency, where he supported nuclear infrastructure development for newcomer countries and contributed to international initiatives on nuclear security and capacity building. He also worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan on disarmament and non-proliferation, and at Kazatomprom, the world’s largest uranium producer, leading international cooperation and strategic projects across the nuclear fuel cycle. Aidar brings a unique perspective to the intersection of policy, industry, and international organizations, with a focus on Central Asia.
