Dr. Cameron Harrington is an associate professor of international relations in the School of Government and International Affairs, Durham University, UK, and a fellow (non-resident) of the Global Risk Governance Program, University of Cape Town. He is also a fellow of the Global Policy Institute, Durham University, where he was deputy director in 2019-2023. He has held scholarly positions at the University of Western Ontario, Université de Montréal, and the University of Cape Town. His research examines ecological politics, governance, and law, specifically focusing on discourses and practices of climate and water security. He has published widely for academic and non-academic outlets and is the co-author of Security in the Anthropocene: Reflections on Safety and Care (2017) and co-editor of Climate Security in the Anthropocene: Exploring the Approaches of United Nations Security Council Member-States (2023).
