Captain Chris Hawkins is a U.S. Army officer training to become a Eurasian Foreign Area Officer (FAO). He is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. After receiving his commission from the United States Military Academy, Chris served in posts across the United States and overseas in South Korea and Afghanistan. After being selected to become a FAO in 2018, he studied Russian at the Defense Language Institute and served for one year in the Office of Defense Cooperation in Tbilisi, Georgia. Following completion of his graduate degree, Chris will serve the remainder of his career in Eurasian-centric assignments.
