David Goldovt-Ryzhenkov is a well established independent scholar with a strong military and information technology backgrounds.

His research focus is on military tactics, military strategy mostly in the 20th and the 21st centuries. He regularly supports military archeology expeditions in Ukraine and Russia, and cooperates with scholars from around the globe to help bring right primary sources into a given project.

In addition to academic pursuits, David volunteers his time to altruistic causes, which have included advocating for veterans at the Veteran's Administration, running a meditation group, and contributing to the missions of "The Prison Book" and "Friendship Works" programs in the Boston area.
