Dr. Inga Zakšauskienė received a Ph.D. from Vilnius University, Lithuania, and is currently an assistant professor of modern history there. In 2017–2018, Zakšauskienė interned at Stanford University, and in 2013-2021 she served as an expert on the First Assessment Council of the Department of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture for Immovable Cultural Heritage. In 2023, she was appointed chief archivist of the Lithuanian Central Archives in Vilnius, Lithuania. Additionally, Zakšauskienė is the initiator and executor of various history research and dissemination projects.
