Areas of Expertise

Dr. Jenya Mironava is a preceptor in Harvard's Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures.

Her research focuses on twentieth-century Russian and Czech literature and culture, with emphasis on questions of temporality, formal experimentation, and linguistic play. Her work engages with the issues of memory, including ways of memorializing the past, textual transmission, and intertextuality. It addresses questions of embodiment and explores the book as a material object, and texts as performances. She received her PhD in Slavic Langauges and Literature at Harvard in 2022.
