Jess Chen is a Ph.D. student in the History of Art and Architecture at Harvard University, where she studies artistic production in pre- and post-Soviet Central Asia. In 2024, she curated the exhibition Eluding Capture: Three Artists from Central Asia at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA).
