Judith Bing has been a member of the Architecture faculty at Drexel University since 1988. She has taught upper level design studios, courses on modern architecture, and a vernacular architecture seminar. Her research focuses on vernacular architecture of the Balkans, where she has traveled extensively, and lectured, written, and exhibited photographs and drawings about this topic. She is a registered architect and practiced as a partner of Bing Harrington Architects in Philadelphia. Now retired, she continues as an emeritus member of the Architecture faculty and is pursuing research projects from her base on the coast of Maine.
