Kara Kaufman is professor of history and gender and women's studies at North Shore Community College. She specializes in masculinity studies and identity construction. She is passionate about the art of teaching and co-creates pedagogical professional development opportunities with the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Innovation at North Shore and at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies.
