Alexis Peri

Alexis Peri is an Associate Professor of History at Boston University, specializing in Russian and Soviet history. She has published The War Within: Diaries from the Siege of Leningrad (Harvard University Press, 2017) as well as articles in Kritika, The Russian Review, and Diplomatic History. Peri’s upcoming book, Dear Unknown Friend: The Remarkable Correspondence between American and Soviet Women, is slated to come out with Harvard University Press in October 2024.
