As associate director, Cris serves as a member of the Davis Center's senior leadership team, advising the center’s faculty director and executive director on a range of strategic areas, including research programs, development, and alumni relations. She also oversees event and educator-outreach programming, working to disseminate knowledge and research on Russia and Eurasia to a variety of constituencies, including undergraduate students, K-14 teachers and students, and the broader community.

During the 2024-2025 academic year, Cris served as the Davis Center's interim executive director, providing oversight and strategic leadership across the center's diverse portfolio, including events and outreach programming, research and visiting scholar programs, fundraising, staffing, and human resources.

Cris earned a master's degree in international education policy from Harvard's Graduate School of Education and an undergraduate degree in history from Carnegie Mellon University.
