As interim executive director during the 2024-2025 academic year, Cris will provide oversight and strategic development across the center's diverse portfolio, including events and outreach programming, research and visiting scholar programs, staffing and human resources. In her previous role as associate director, she served as a member of the Davis Center's senior leadership team, advising the center’s faculty director on a range of strategic areas. She has overseen event and educator-outreach programming, working to disseminate knowledge and research on Russia and Eurasia to a variety of constituencies, including undergraduate students, K-14 teachers and students, and the broader community. 

Cris earned a master's degree in international education policy from Harvard's Graduate School of Education and an undergraduate degree in history from Carnegie Mellon University.
