Liubov Sulyandziga is an Indigenous rights expert and advocate for Arctic Indigenous Peoples from the Udege community of the Russian Far East. She holds a Master of Law from Kyushu University and a PhD in Political Science, specializing in Indigenous self-determination, Arctic governance, and policy development. Her professional experience spans research, international advocacy, and strategic advising for Indigenous communities in Russia and beyond. Liubov has contributed to leading international platforms and published widely, including with Routledge, Duke University Press, etc. Her current research focuses on Indigenous governance in the context of the green transition, critical minerals, and global climate policy.
