Michael works in the Fung Library supporting the Davis Center’s archive and special collections. A graduate of Haverford College, he has studied in Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Romania, and has also conducted research at the Icon Museum and Study Center in Clinton, Massachusetts. His interests include pan-Slavism and its history, Russia abroad, Soviet historiography, and Empress Anna Ioannovna and the mid-18th century.
