Miklós Mitrovits is a Research Fellow at the Institute of History, Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He graduated from the History Studies of Eötvös University in Budapest (2004) and Polish Studies of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University in Piliscsaba (2018). He earned his Ph.D. in 19th and 20th Century Eastern European History at the Doctoral School of Eötvös University (2009). He has worked as a research fellow at the Institute of History of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and a senior research fellow at the Institute for Central European Studies in Budapest. His research field is the 20th century history of Central Europe, Polish-Hungarian relationship and the history of the opposition movements in Central Europe in the 1970s and 1980s.
