The Master of Arts in Regional Studies—Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia (REECA) is a two-year program that offers advanced training in the history, politics, culture, society, and languages of this region.
Nikoloz Aleksidze was a visiting scholar at the Davis Center in the fall of 2024. He is a professor of the history of religion and political thought at the Free University of Tbilisi. He received his doctoral degree in Oriental studies (Eastern Christian studies) at the University of Oxford in 2014. He holds a master's degree from Central European University in medieval studies. Professor Aleksidze has published three monographs on the history and culture of Caucasia.
