Richard Foltz (Ph.D., Harvard, 1996) is a professor in the Department of Religions and Cultures at Concordia University in Montréal. A specialist in the greater Iranian world, his book A History of the Tajiks: Iranians of the East (2nd edition, 2023) has been translated into French, Dari, and Tojiki and is dedicated to the memory of the late Harvard professor Richard N. Frye.
