Join the Arms Control Negotiation Academy (ACONA) for ACONA Conference Reykjavik on Saturday, May 14, in person and virtually to discuss emerging challenges in the field of nuclear arms control. International nuclear arms control experts and practitioners will address the future of disarmament and non-proliferation.

This one-day conference is open to the public and will feature Icelandic Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir,  Former High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs & Security Policy Baroness Catherine Ashton, Co-chair of U.S. Pugwash Committee Steve Miller, and others. The program will cover the risks of nuclear escalation in armed conflict, de-escalation strategies, the future of arms control, and challenges facing the global community overall.
