The Davis Center, in collaboration with Keene State College's Cohen Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, is offering a two-part webinar series devoted to genocide education. These trainings were designed to support K-14 educators in expanding their knowledge and teaching practices on Genocide Education.
This first webinar, The Dos, Don’ts, and Hows of Genocide Education, will provide educators with essential tools and strategies for teaching this sensitive subject in responsible and impactful ways. This includes discussion of determining rationales, resources, which genocides to teach, as well as some suggested instructional strategies and activities for younger and older students.
The second webinar, The Camera as a Weapon will be held on March 29, 2025.
