Bruno S. Sergi teaches at the Harvard Summer School and in the Harvard Division of Continuing Education, and his portfolio includes courses on development economics and the economics of emerging markets. His current research interests span the political economy of emerging markets and encompass sustainable development, technology, and global development practices. He is a passionate and innovative teacher, adviser, and mentor, being active in multiple academic advisory boards. In addition to having published over 250 articles in various scholarly journals and authored, co-authored, edited, and co-edited 30 books. He spearheaded the founding of several scholarly journals and book series at Cambridge University Press and Emerald Publishing, further contributing to the academic discourse. Eager to connect with students of all levels and career stages, he is associate editor of The American Economist, an official publication of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Honor Society in Economics. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Greenwich – London.
