Dana Masalimova is a former diplomat with the Foreign Service of Kazakhstan. She was appointed Alternate Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organization in 2021 and served as head of economic affairs at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in London. She held a diplomatic post in Washington, D.C. where she was a political affairs officer. In 2009-2010, she spent a year at the Columbia University’s Harriman Institute in New York on the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program. Dana holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Surrey, UK, and a Master of Public Administration degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government where she was the recipient of the Eric Yankah Award for Distinguished Contribution to the Edward S. Mason Program and Harvard Kennedy School.
