Daniel Maliniak is an associate professor of government at William & Mary, where he leads the International and Political Affairs of the Caucasus (IPAC) research group. His research covers a broad range of topics including international political economy, the field of international relations, political geography, and the politics of the South Caucasus. His published work has appeared in a number of peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Politics, International Organization, International Studies Quarterly, Security Studies, Political Research Quarterly, and Political Behavior. He is the co-editor of Bridging the Theory-Practice Divide in International Relations.
