Eka Imerlishvili serves as the Secretary of the Georgian Association in the US. A Georgian immigrant herself, Eka became interested in learning more about the visionary individuals who fled the Bolshevik occupation of Georgia and founded the Georgian Association in 1932. 

In diverse capacities and across global contexts, Eka has served in multiple roles throughout her career. She has co-hosted a feminist radio program at the Radio Free Europe/Liberty, authored articles on gender, feminism and democracy, and worked at various international organizations to support civil society, social inclusion and gender mainstreaming.     

Eka holds an M.A in Political Science from Central European University in Budapest, Hungary, and is a native of of Telavi, her much-beloved hometown.
