Isaac McKean Scarborough is a historian of the Soviet Union and post-Soviet sphere, studying various aspects of socio-economic development in Central Asia, Russia, and Ukraine. He received a PhD in International History from the LSE in 2018 and is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Humanities and Social Science, Liverpool John Moores University.
