Liubov Apostolova-Sossa heads the Department of Urban Economy at the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (Faculty of Urban and Spatial Planning). She is a deputy department chief and chief architect of projects at the municipal organization Institute of the General Plan of Kyiv City. Her expertise lies in the development and coordination of spatial and urban planning documentation, municipal authorities, and urban and cultural heritage research. Apostolova-Sossa holds a Ph.D. in urban and spatial planning from Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture and is a member of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS). She has authored more than 40 scholarly and methodological works and curated an urban studies program.
