Dr. Rashmini Koparkar is assistant professor at the Center for Russian and Central Asian Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. Dr. Koparkar was awarded her Ph.D. in 2016 for her thesis on "Nation-Building in Post-Soviet Uzbekistan." She has completed M.A. and M.Phil. degrees in international relations from JNU as well. Dr. Koparkar has basic proficiency in Russian language. She has participated in various international and national conferences, and has written papers and articles. Her monograph, titled Issues and Dynamics of the Fergana Valley: Regional Implications, was published in April 2019 by Vivekananda International Foundation.
