Shakhboz Akhmedov

Shakhboz Akhmedov is Senior Research Fellow, Knowledge and Research Networking at the CAREC Institute, where he develops and maintains strategic research partnerships across the CAREC region and beyond. He also coordinates the activities of a climate task force of the institute and the work of the CAREC Institute Research Conference. Previously, he was the manager of the Innovations and Scientific Research Cluster, where he supported the enabling environment for startups, innovative and research projects, and the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC), Almaty, Kazakhstan, the Regional Environmental Centre for Central and Eastern Europe (REC), Hungary, and GIZ, Germany.
