Stuart Goldberg is professor of Russian at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His first book, Mandelstam, Blok and the Boundaries of Mythopoetic Symbolism was a Choice "Outstanding Academic Title" and was translated by Novoe Literaturnoe Obozrenie (Moscow). The University of Toronto Press has recently published his second monograph, An Indwelling Voice: Sincerities and Authenticities in Russian Poetry. He has held Fulbright and American Council of Learned Societies fellowships. He was also the architect of the U.S. Department of Education grant-funded Critical Languages Song Project (clsp.gatech.edu), which brought together faculty in Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin and Russian to create innovative online materials for advanced study of language and culture.
