The Program Fellowship offers REECA MA students the opportunity to undertake hands-on work with Davis Center scholar/staff mentors on strategic planning, program development and implementation, and special projects--all while earning a generous monthly stipend. WHO CAN APPLY?

Any incoming or continuing full-time student in the REECA master's program, regardless of citizenship, is eligible to apply.

Application Details

We are looking for strong team-players who are proactive, reliable and entrepreneurial, and committed to contributing to the work of the Davis Center. Each fellow is expected to work approximately 10 hours per week (there is flexibility built into the schedule to account for the academic calendar as well as the realities of the REECA workload).

For the 2026-2027 academic year, we will offer three fellowships supporting the following Davis Center programs:

  • Educational Outreach
  • Imperiia Project 
  • Program on Central Asia

Terms:

Appointment dates: September 1, 2026 - May 31, 2027 (full academic year)
Workload: 270 hours over 9 months (there is flexibility built into the schedule to account for the academic calendar)
Stipend amount: $8,000, disbursed bimonthly throughout the academic year
 

Timeline:

  • June 3, 2026: Application Deadline
  • June 8-12, 2026: Virtual interviews
  • June 15, 2026: Notification of application outcome
  • September 1, 2026: Start of fellowship term
  • May 31, 2027: Close of fellowship term
