Daria Zhukauskaite is a master’s student in the Davis Center’s REECA program, specializing in geopolitical risk, institutional resilience, and strategic communication in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
She is a student research associate at Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center and has previously worked on compliance and due diligence. At Harvard, Daria has also supported two visiting-scholar-led projects, conducting research on Moldovan institutional reforms and historical inequality in Central and Eastern Europe. Before her time at the university, she contributed to research on Baltic security and demographic risk.
She holds a B.A. in international relations from Anglo-American University in Prague, where she wrote her thesis on Russian imperial identity and national security. Another of Daria’s undertakings has been assisting in the English-language publication of Stanislav Shushkevich’s autobiography. Her goal is to pursue a career in geopolitical risk and strategic advisory.
