Paweł Pieniążek has been a journalist for the past 15 years and has reported on the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Nagorno-Karabakh, Syria, and Ukraine. He held the Poynter Fellowship at Yale University in 2015 and is the author of four nonfiction books.
