Eugenija is a seasoned development cooperation practitioner with an academic background in law and interdisciplinary African studies from Copenhagen University. This combination informs a critical and reflective approach to undertaken projects. Her professional experience spans a variety of larger and smaller educational or development cooperation projects in Denmark, Mozambique, Indonesia, the occupied Palestinian Territories, and Nigeria.
In 2015, Eugenija co-founded OSMOS (formerly AfriKo) - a Lithuania-based research, policy, and consultancy center aiming to bridge the Baltics, Africa, and other unexpected regions through meaningful partnerships.
Since October 2022, Eugenija joined the Open Lithuania Foundation to design, develop, and lead its new initiative for supporting displaced Ukrainians in Lithuania, which was launched in February 2023 as Ukreate Hub.
