Nana Gongadze has been a communications professional in media, advocacy, and international affairs since her graduation from American University with a degree in public relations and strategic communication in 2019. She has worked as a digital communications specialist at the German Marshall Fund, a U.S.-based think tank focused on transatlantic issues. Prior to that, she headed advocacy communications for Razom for Ukraine, focusing on the team’s campaign for U.S. assistance to Ukraine. She is the author of multiple editorials that have been published in top Ukrainian media outlet Ukrainska Pravda and an advisory board member of the Gongadze Prize, an award for Ukrainian journalists. She is interested in researching the intersections of digital communication, public diplomacy, and nation branding during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
