Each year the Davis Center welcomes a new cohort of students pursuing interdisciplinary master’s degrees in regional studies covering Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia (hence "REECA"), as well as the Caucasus and beyond. Our two-year program offers advanced training in the history, politics, culture, society, and languages of this vast and changing region. Our graduates go on to make meaningful contributions in their chosen field, whether it’s non-profit work, academia, government, or the private sector.
Our newest cohort is truly international, coming to us not just from the United States but from the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Poland, Estonia, and the Czech Republic, with experience in the military, journalism, and think tanks. Get to know them as they join our second-year REECA students.
