H. Nicole Richardson holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Social Studies Education, along with 18 additional graduate credit hours in psychology to support her dual enrollment teaching. Over the course of more than 20 years in the classroom, she has taught a wide range of social studies courses—including traditional, IB, AP, and dual enrollment—in both in-person and virtual settings. Nicole has worked with students from diverse backgrounds and ability levels, consistently applying evidence-based strategies to support retention, literacy, and critical thinking. She is a member of IGNITE (Innovative Group for New Ideas in Teaching and Education), a professional learning community focused on innovative, research-driven approaches to social studies instruction. Her commitment to inclusive teaching is also shaped by her experience parenting and teaching her own neurodivergent child, deepening her dedication to making learning accessible for all.
