Nadia Boyadjieva, Ph.D., D.Sc., is a professor of international relations and international law at the Balkan Studies Institute, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She is also a long-term visiting scholar at the Davis Center. She has written numerous books and many academic articles on the politics, history, legal aspects, and international relations of the former Soviet bloc from 1945 to the present. She teaches classes on international relations and international human rights, peacekeeping, and international security.
